Please remember that peak holiday season in Europe/UK/US coincides with low season in Phuket, which means that the less expensive low season rates can be taken advantage of.
For approximation, if two couples are vacationing in Phuket together in the high season, the cost of renting Town House 245/12 Ground Floor/First Floor is 79,000 Baht per month, this breaks down to 79,000 divided by 2 (for each couple) = 39,500 Baht, further divided by 30 = 1,317 Baht per day. Nowhere in Phuket, let along Patong, are you going to find a hotel with a full European kitchen (prepare the meals you want), two bedrooms, lounge, and dining area for this price, and with such a great view!
A hotel room and dining out every night will cost you at least twice, or triple, every day!
Town Houses, 245/30 and 245/32 are considerably less (817 Baht a night in High Season, 650 Baht a night in Low Season!) Something to think about when planning a vacation...
Long term rates are even less!
